As a Makeup Artist every job is similar as much as it is different.

Part of what sets me apart as a Makeup Artist is the calm energy met with the years of professional experience that I bring to a space.
Before the camera rolls.
Before the vows begin.
Before the talent steps into character.
It’s just two people coming together when we often don't know each other before. It's true, getting your makeup done can be a vulnerable experience and it's important to feel some sort of trust before the process begins.
I’ve worked as a makeup artist for over a decade across sets, weddings, private sessions, and fast-paced commercial environments — and what most people don’t realize is that makeup isn’t just about beauty, it is also about translation.
On set, my job is to translate a director’s vision into skin, texture, tone, and durability under hot lights. I have to watch closely how foundation reads under different color temperatures or apply powder and lip touch ups. Sometimes I have adjust the makeup for lenses, sweat, continuity, and timing.
With brides, I translate emotion. Nerves. Meaning. Memory. The look has to feel like you, like the best version of yourself. It has to last through tears, photography, hugs, weather, and hours of celebration. (My last bride went to a sunrise party and sent me photos of her makeup at 10am the next day, still gorgeous as ever.) (Or my favorite story is a bride who fell asleep with her makeup on and it stayed so well her white pillow cases were still clean in the morning!)
Private clients are their own beautiful category — photoshoots, events, life transitions, branding sessions. Often they sit down saying, “I never do this for myself.” And by the end, something has shifted. Posture changes. Energy changes. Confidence shows up. And they usually follow up and book with me again for their big event. I love this part of my job as I get to build friendships and relationships through each life event.
Across all of these spaces, my role is steady presence and showing up for who is in my chair.
I bring Clean tools. Luxury products. Camera-ready technique. And skin prep that you can only get from a licensed Esthetician. ◡̈
Whether I’m on a commercial set, inside a hotel suite on a wedding, or working one-on-one with a private client, my intention is the same:
You should feel like yourself — seen, supported, and elevated.
If you’re planning a shoot, a wedding, or a private session, I’d love to be part of your story.
